Two Hour Show

Hey guys,

So the first ever regular two hour show was tonight, and it went very well for not having all of the crew there. Craig was a freaking life saver for coming down when he was not expected too, and as usual Broadway was his fantastic self. FYI it did NOT help that the internet at the studio was not working so the “Sound Byte of the Week Segment”…did not happen, but the show must go on and it did.

The Celtics kicked off the show and really set the tone for what was a very high energy broadcast..I love the Celtics just as much as the next guy, but we need to get young (no pun intended) fast. From there it was a player of the week segment which saw Joe looking at the college ranks, and where I had to pick Nomar..I mean come on this guy was THE Boston red sox for a very long time and it was great to see him back. We then talked about the best teams of the week and again Joe stayed within the college ranks and talked about basketball and baseball respectively and I had to go with the Orlando Magic who are 9-1 in their last ten…like come on that’s filthy. Superman and Vince are averaging a combined 37pts a game…again that’s awesome..This team is my favorite to win the championship this year. The rest of the show went awesome and Joe showed why he is great by taking a segment of college basketball and making it 16mins when I most likely could not make it three minutes.

The simple fact that we have a two hour weekly show is a testament to our listeners and followers…I don’t know how many read this blog, but I want to thank all of you because you have turned a show that was at one time almost cancelled into the longest running sports show in dean college history. It will be a great run and now the countdown to the 100th episode is at 4.

…That’s a Wrap
